Q: Your studio looks like such a tranquil and magical place. Can you tell us about why you named it “Mood for Yoga” and tell us about the space and your vision for it?
A: Everyone has a soul. I think the fragrance that the soul releases is the “mood”. I respect and love the unique mood of each person. It is humbling to share each other’s “moods”, and I’m happy to have a space where I am always learning. It’s great to be able to share the magical power of the Yoga that I know, and how small traces of it’s power can have a positive affect on everyone’s life. Moreover, I am certain that this energy circulates.

Everyone’s energy that passes through this small and simple space is forever circulating. I want to share our souls, inspire each other, and make the mood of life a healthier and more beautiful one. That’s the goal I envision for this space.
Q: Mood for Yoga, now has Reckless Red – OM yoga mats. Tell us about what it has done to the space and why you chose to use our mats! 🙂
A: I think that the Reckless Red OM’s colours and material are a beautiful reflection of the ‘forest of hearts’. We all want to be healed. I think the ultimate healing is within us. I am so glad to have met RR-OM and it is my pleasure to finally find the mat that can accompany peacefully with my practice. The mat’s texture makes my heart soften, the rubber material is healthy and the mat is also beautiful.
I really appreciate and love the mats.
MOOD is located near the Café – My Allee . I do not want to describe it in fancy words. I just want to invite you. Come. Experience. Feel something. Whatever it is.

Q: If you could express yourself in a colour, what colour from our OMBRE COLLECTION do you think best matches?
A: For our mood space, we selected the SHADED MOSS, which to me is the colour of life , vitality , the safety of the forests and a colour of hope. We also selected RUM & RAISIN, the colour of immortal life & mental healing.

It is very amazing what those two colours from RR-OM has brought our space. Isn’t it fantastic what harmony and meaning colour can bring to a space. For me, I think that the power to re-open the world is love. I love all the preciousness of this world and all your colours speak to me in such a way. Thank you.

Q: How did you first start Yoga?
A: Yoga has been part of my life for a while now; it has been over three years.
I am a mother of three kids, living with my grandmother and mother-in-law.
Before yoga came into my life, like many people, the waves of life were very intense. My youngest daughter was diagnosed with brain lesions and I was exhausted after the rehabilitation period. However, I did not want to run away or hide from my life’s struggles. I was in search for the one that would set me free, and fall in love with. My thoughts, words, and actions becoming my own reasons for living: I needed such a joyful and lovely freedom. What I fell in love with was finally Yoga.

Q: What does Yoga mean to you?
A: For me, time is like a quilt blanket. Not all the pieces of time are perfect or beautiful. However, it was Yoga that connected the flow of those pieces naturally and abundantly, making sure that it did not become puzzled or helpless. Maybe I live in such a sweet and warm universe like a blanket. Yoga and my life, we care for each other.

Q: We’d love to know how you spend your day to day life?
A: For me, my yoga practice is my habit. It is a piece of my everyday life.

Outside of yoga, I usually listen to music and read books. Music fills me to the edge of my emotions. I love music. Usually when I’m alone, I’d like to listen to vocal music by musicians such as Rachael Yamagata, Sade, Keiko Lee and Thomas Dybdahl, and jazz music by Bill Evans Trio and The Red Garland Quintet. And also Gotan Project!
Diverse, right?
I want to list more music, but I’ll do it next time. 🙂
I also like books. I like fairy tale books. Probably it is because of my children. I adore the pure, generous and creative power of fairy tales. I also like books by Haruki and Ekuni Kaori. Kaori is the author of Between Calm And Passion and Twinkle twinkle
